Over the years, we have been asked some basic questions over and over.  Therefore we have created this page so that you can save time on some standard questions you may have for us.

But of course, please call us anytime to make sure ALL your questions are answered.

  1. Who is American Access?

  2. Does American Access have a local installer for me?

    • American Access has over 70 contractors nationwide assisting them in product installations.  Some of our crews can set modular buildings as well.  Not all areas are covered but we are growing our market share as we move forward.  Call us today to see if we have an authorized installer in your area.

  3. Does the product meet any type of codes or requirements?

    • Our product is ADA and IBC Compliant and helps to ensure safe, user-friendly performance while enhancing the appearance of any structure.

  4. Can we have our own maintenance crew install the system?

    • Yes, the product is user friendly and can be installed within hours using a 2 man crew.  An average system of 28' with landings can be installed in about 4 hours.

  5. Can we move this system as our need changes?

    • Yes, this system is completely modular in that you can set it up under many different configurations as needed.  Adding components to change the layout is done with ease.

  6. What type of material is the ramp system made of?

    • Heavy-duty, structural aluminum provides stability, high load capacity and slip-free traction for the safest possible entry system.  Site specific, wet stamped plans, suitable for permit submittals, are available at a fraction of the cost of architectural drafting expenses.

  7. How will the product be shipped in to me?

    • The ramp system is designed to be unloaded on site off the shipping pallets right in installation sequence.  You will NOT get a truck load of parts stacked without reason.  We have spent hours making sure that your load will help you in getting the best value out of your installers by saving time and money.

  8. How can i save money by making some simple site preparation adjustments?

    • When you order your portable modular building, make sure your set up crew understands to keep the threshold under 30" off the ground.  By doing this you will eliminate the need for extra platform landings in order to keep within ADA requirements.  Most states will also allow your system to be equipped with standard 2-line ADA handrails as apposed to the 4" on center picket railing if you are under 30" at the threshold.  Both of these adjustments means a substantial cost savings to you.
