Hawaii Project #1

This job was installed in Hawaii using the "over" 30" designed system.  Over 30" means that any rise greater than 30" requires 4" on center picket handrails.  This was the "ALL Aluiminum" system.

Hawaii Project #2

Here is another recent job completed on the Hawaiian Islands.  As you can see, they are required in Hawaii to use the larger concrete pads because of Earthquake regulations. 

On this paticular job the school district chose to paint portions of the handrails to ward off possible theft of the aluminum parts.

Because the rise on this ramp run was under 30", they chose to use the "under 30" design handrails.  This allowed the school district to save some money on the many ramps they purchased.

School Project

This recent project used all our options. 

The school chose to use the "over 30" design which included the 4" on center picket railing.  

Because of space issues we used a "switchback" landing to turn the ramp run 180 degrees back onto the sidewalk in front of the building.  They also chose to use a set of steps for the ease of regular foot traffic.
